Protect the front differential on your late-model 70 Series with the Superior Gen 2 Weld-On Heavy Duty Diff Guard, manufactured specifically for LandCruiser 76, 78, and 79 Series models from 11/2016 onward. Built from tough 6mm 350GR mild steel, this guard reinforces one of the most vulnerable components under the front end, giving you the confidence to take your Cruiser into rocky, rutted terrain without hesitation.

The Gen 2 design has been updated for the post-2016 diff casting shape, ensuring proper weld fitment, full coverage, and a cleaner wrap around the lower housing. Once installed, it forms a permanent shield that dramatically reduces the risk of cracking, denting, or peeling the diff housing on harsh impacts.

Factory housings are strong, but repeated hits from rocks or ledges can eventually distort the casting or rupture the lower edge. If you spend time on tight and technical tracks a weld-on guard becomes cheap insurance against a trip-ending failure.
