Front End

The front of your Outback Venturer Prado is held up by our Australian Made Heavy Duty Coil Springs coated in our Signature Superior Silver Powder coat.

Upper Control Arms

All Outback Venturer Kits include a pair of our Australian Made Superior Engineering Billet Upper Control arms, which are designed to assist with correcting wheel alignment through fine-tuning of the camber and castor angles when lifting your IFS vehicle. Manufactured from Solid Billet Aircraft Grade 6000 Series Alloy, these UCA’s are manufactured to give additional clearance to the Front Coil Spring during articulation and increased clearance for the Under Guard. Durable Poly Bushes are utilised at the chassis end, alongside the highest quality, high-angle greaseable ball joints at the wheel end, to allow for the maximum range of movement without binding.

Shocks

Outback Venturer Kits come standard with Superior Engineering 2.0 Remote Reservoir Shock Absorbers Front & Rear. Superior Engineering Remote Reservoir Shock Absorbers feature an external compression adjuster knob as standard across the range, giving you the ability to fine tune your ride & handling with ease. Included are our Prado-specific Shock Reservoir Mounts front & rear; designed to keep your Reservoirs securely fixed out of harm’s way.

Speedo Correction

Superior Engineering offer a Digital Speedo Correction Module to match your increased tyre size, resulting in an accurate and legal speedo reading.

Rear Suspension Component Upgrades

Factory Control Arms are made to a budget and usually not up to the task when it comes to off-road use. In response to the need for Heavy Duty Upper and Lower Control Arms, Superior Engineering have produced HD Lowers, Uppers & Rear Panhard Rod for the 150 Series Prado. Supplied with Adjustable Uppers & Panhard Rod, and Fixed length Lowers, these arms are designed to fine tune your Suspension Alignment and Geometry. All Superior Engineering control arms come coated in a rust-resistant SA5 Zinc finish and either OE Rubber or Polyurethane Bushes.

Rear Suspension Component Upgrades - Part 2

To keep the rear end of your 150 Series Prado operating at its full potential, Superior Engineering have included Rear Sway Bar Extensions and Extended Brake Lines, selected to match the Rear Shock Travel.

The Little Things

On top of everything you have seen above, Outback Venturer Kits include a wide range of smaller functional components used including LED Cat-6 Indicators & Sway Bar Extensions to name a few. A number of other components are included as part of the Approval Process including Superior Engineering Branded Mudflaps.
