WHAT CAN BE RETURNED?
Superior Engineering will accept any of our products that we manufacture for return if there is a fault with the
product or the customer is unhappy with the performance of the item.
If it is a product that we did not ‘manufacture’ but have sold for another ‘manufacturer’, the return will
be passed onto the ‘manufacturer’ to be determined by the ‘manufacturer’ if a warranty or refund will be accepted.
Superior Engineering cannot be held liable for another manufacturer’s choice in their return policy.
The original copy of the invoice must be provided to Superior Engineering.
Superior Engineering will not refund or exchange a product because you ‘simply changed your mind’.
We will accept returns up to a maximum of 7 days from delivery date.
Warranty is different from returns and depends on the particular parts, manufacturer and circumstances of
the claim.
If a "part" is fitted incorrectly and is the cause of the "part" being faulty Superior Engineering will not exchange/Refund
or replace the part.
WHERE DO CUSTOMERS RETURN ITEMS?
Products must be returned from the original place of purchase.
If you purchased the products directly from superior Engineering , the parts must be sent with a copy of the original
tax invoice with up to date contact details and a typed letter explaining what the problem is with the parts supplied
as well as your account details or credit card details.
If the products were purchased from another Workshop or 4wd Shop they must be returned in the same manner
but to the place purchased.
The return address to send the parts Purchased from Superior Engineering is 499 Uhlmann Road, Burpengary, Qld, 4505.
Parts must be placed on a trackable freight Carrier and Superior Engineering will not be held liable for lost freight
and will not pay or replace lost freight if we did not organise the freight from our Sales Team.
WHO PAYS FOR RETURNS?
If it is a manufacturer fault in the parts manufactured by Superior Engineering, we will pay freight both ways.
Parts that are fitted incorrectly and cause the part to be faulty, Superior Engineering will not pay for Freight .
When a return is not due to a manufacturers fault, the customer must pay freight costs to 499 Uhlmann Road,
Burpengary, Qld, 4505.
If the parts are from another manufacturer, Superior Engineering will contact the ‘manufacturer’ to see if they will pay
for the freight.
Superior Engineering will not pay freight for another manufacturer’s parts to be sent back for return.
20% restocking fee will apply for products that are not faulty.
If Superior Engineering has sent you the wrong part, or a faulty item that we “manufactured’ we will pay full cost of freight.
CREDIT FOR RETURN
If a return has been approved and the customer would like the money returned, Superior Engineering will only return the
money to the account or credit card number that the original invoice was debited to.
INSTORE RETURN OPTIONS
All approved returns must be directed to the store or workshop that either fitted or sold the product to yourself.
PACKING MATERIALS
If products are returned in damaged and / or not the original packaging, the cost of the packaging will be taken off
the refund amount.
PAYMENTS
Superior Engineering accepts Pay pal, Visa, Master card, Debit Card, Money Order, Bank Cheque as well as EFT and cash.
Credit card can be accepted over the phone and is the fastest way to have your products processed and on their way to you.
Pay pal and EFT can take a couple of days to be processed.
When paying Pay pal, you must first contact Superior Engineering to set a final price with freight prior to paying on Pay pal.
Superior Engineering checks Pay pal daily, once we see the money in our Pay pal account, we then process the order.
EFT is much the same way as the customer needs to contact Superior Engineering to get a total cost with freight.
It is recommended to fax or phone Superior Engineering and advise them of the transaction.
EFT usually takes two (2) days for it to show in our account.
Superior Engineering will not proceed with the order until the payment is showing in our account.
Cash is only accepted in our shop and not by mail.
Money Orders or Bank Cheques will be processed as soon as Superior Engineering receives it.
Personal and business cheques will not be accepted under any circumstances.
SHIPPING
Superior Engineering ships small products in 500g, 3kg and 5kg express bags by Australia Post wherever possible.
The customer does not need to be at home to receive the item.
If the customer is not at home, a card will be left in their letterbox and the customer may be required to go to the local post office
to collect it.
Larger items over 5kg will generally go on TNT Australia and we can give ‘authority to leave’ if the customer is not home
during delivery.
Superior Engineering can ship on the customer’s account with their freight company if required.
Overseas orders are usually TNT Overseas, but we always quote first to check the customer is happy with the quote
before proceeding.
Freight is extremely cheap, we can usually get a full size Nissan or Toyota Superior Kit anywhere in Australia for under
$150, NSW and QLD is under $100.
Superior Engineering will not be held liable for any damage caused to a vehicle from Superior Engineering
Products, It is up to the Person fitting the products to make sure the parts do work correctly and are fitted
correctly and are the correct parts prior to fitting.
FOR OFFROAD USE ONLY
Products Sold/ Manufactured/ Distributed by Superior Engineering (QLD) pty ltd are not to be used on public roads.
The Products Superior Engineering Manufacture, supply and sell are only intended to be fitted and used in offroad racing vehicles .
It is up to the buyer(s) to check with their state department if the parts can be fitted and used on public roads that they intend to use the vehicle on.
Superior Engineering does not give permission for a buyer(s) or fitter(s) to fit and or use the products on a vehicle intended for use on a public road.
